As Xiaomi Mi 6 release date is coming soon, it is rumored that Xiaomi will offer three models of mi 6 with three different types of chip-sets (processors). The models are thought to be the Xiaomi Mi 6S, the Mi 6E and Mi 6P. Experts believe that there is a good chance that the processors used in the new Xiaomi Mi 6 will be the Snapdragon 835 chip as well as other types of chips.
Technology watchers in China, one famous analyst named as @Kjuma expect that the three different models of the Xiaomi phone will all offer a different type of Snapdragon 835 chips along with various other types of technology which will give consumers the ability to choose what level of technology they prefer in their new Xiaomi Mi phones. This is revolutionary in the world of smartphones.
All of the new Mi 6 phones from Xiaomi will retain the Mi 6 name and will have an additional letter after the 6 which will represent a different kind of chip-set that will be used in the phones. The Mi 6s will incorporate the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC technology AMD the Xiaomi Mi 6E will incorporate either the MediaTek Helio SoC or the Exynos chipset. The last model, the Xiaomi Mi 6P is believed to incorporate the Pinecone SoC which was created by Xiaomi. There is speculation that Xiaomi is attempting to create a chipset that will compete with the Huawei and their Kirin SoC. If this is indeed true, it is thought that this technology will be incorporated into a Xiaomi phone soon.
Pictures have been released of the Xiaomi Mi 6 that illustrate several unique features including a multi-color front and back, a 2.5D display with a slight curve and a home button that looks like it will offer the ability to use your fingerprint to unlock the phone. It is rumored that the Mi 6 may use metal and glasses differently than they have in the past.
Experts are unsure if the new Xiaomi Mi 6 models will have a dual camera. There is reason to believe that they will have a dual camera because of the possibility that the chipset that will be used is the Snapdragon 835 which is known for the dual camera technology.
There are many reasons that Xiaomi would use the Snapdragon technology from Qualcomm in their new phones. It is thought that the Android Nougat version 7.0 or 7.1 will be the software that Xiaomi uses in their new Mi 6. The benefit to Nougat is that it will work well with the MIUI 9 user interface. Unlike the Xiaomi Mi 5, the Mi 6 is thought to offer as much as 6GB of memory and a USB Type-C both of which are sure to boost sales.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 and many other smartphones will make their first appearance during the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) which occurs in February in Spain. After the Mobile World Congress, it generally takes 2 or 3 months for the phones that rank the best to make it out into the commercial world.
